Cori Grainger joins the team! Cori is an MS student in the Forestry and Environmental Studies department at Yale with a background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Cori is interested in modeling the vulnerability of households in the Himalaya region of India, specifically looking at whether the home has a woman head-of-household changes the vulnerability to natural disasters. Cori is meticulously digging through decades of India’s census records to bring a novel approach to how we view vulnerability in urbanizing areas.
